On Wednesday 18th June, the Eastern Regional Council proudly facilitated the re-signing of co-operation agreements between Malta Libraries and Local Councils within the region that are home to a branch library. The signing ceremony was held at the Gżira library in the presence of the respective Mayors and Executive Secretaries witnessed by the President and Executive Secretary of the Region and Ms. Cheryl Falzon, National Librarian and CEO of Malta Libraries.
The localities which signed the agreements were: Birkirkara, Ħal Għargħur, il-Gżira, l-Imsida, Pembroke and Sliema.
