The Eastern Regional Council is proud to announce that on Thursday 27th March 2025, 20 wooden bins were installed along the scenic trail at Top of the World Ħal Għargħur. Following discussions, Mc Donald’s Malta generously sponsored us and Ħal Għargħur Local Council these bins. The co-branded bins have been securely placed in key locations to make it easier for visitors to dispose of their waste properly. Bin emptying will also occur more frequently to ensure the area remains clean and well-managed.
In addition to the bins already present in the area, these bins are more then enough to accommodate all the waste generated by visitors and thus we kindly ask everyone to dispose of their waste properly and make good use of the bins. We would like to thank Mc Donald’s Malta for their kind sponsorship, together with Ħal Għargħur Local Council for their full cooperation.
