11th and 12th December 2025

The Eastern Regional Council, once again, successfully won funding from the Arts Council Malta through the Regional Cultural Cooperation Program. The funding was awarded for a project entitled ‘O’ Holy Nights – Chapel Trail’. This project began in October with a series of workshops related to traditional Maltese cribs, ceramics and art. The project culminated in a two-day chapel trail held on the 11^th and 12^th December 2025, where a number of different performances were held in various chapels, churches and heritage sites across the Region. These performances included:

• ‘Il-Monstri tal-Milied’ – by Jeremy Grech
• Choir performances by EnKor choir
• Art exhibitions
• Literature reading by Gabriel Lia
• Concerts by the New Victorians and Ceci and Kriss’
