Last year, the Eastern Regional Council (then the Central Regional Council), supported a project called ‘Kisbiet Minsija’. This community project involved interviews done with women over the age of 70 who have a story to tell about a milestone moment in their lives which they felt proud of. Their stories were then used to produce a performance where their lived experiences are at the forefront. The aim of this project is to bring light to stories of Maltese women who are now over the age of 70.

Following the official launch on the 21st of June 2022, at The Imperial Hotel in Sliema, this performance is currently touring care homes around Malta.
