Throughout July we brought artists and the community together through this project!
The Eastern Region of Culture’s performers van toured the island during July, entertaining everyone in its path!
From July 3rd to July 23rd, we launched the lVANt project, a mobile cultural experience that toured 12 localities, offering free performances to make arts accessible and engaging.
lVANt was an experience where local artists brought the arts directly to you! This initiative was all about making the arts accessible and engaging for everyone. All these performances were free for attendees, aiming to bring people together and deliver talented local art and culture to the public. It was also important for lVANt that this experience was environmentally friendly, which was achieved by powering both the performances’ sound and lighting through the use of batteries. By using batteries to generate power rather than traditional fuel generators, the event was environmentally friendly, a fact lVANt was incredibly proud of.
Four weeks of delivering entertainment to the heart of the town! The tour consisted of various events, each featuring a local artist or entertainer showcasing their art in the designated locality for that day. Adding to the fun, comedians Carlos Debattista and Matthew Sant Sultana were the lively hosts and presenters throughout the lVANt tour, ensuring each stop was not only entertaining but filled with lots of laughter.
